BRAND

There's been a lot of ink spilled about branding and strategy over the years. Many wonderful books, websites, videos, and podcasts are out there, full of wisdom on what branding is and how to build your brand. 

​

Here's my take: a brand is the full experience and perception of a product, service, organization or person.
 

It's more than a logo. It's a promise that every interaction is trustworthy and consistent. A successful brand is one where the voice, the word choice, the visuals, the tone, the timing, the sales pitch, the customer service, the in-person event, the internal culture and more are unmistakably unique and can only belong to that brand.

If it sounds overwhelming, it doesn't have to be. In fact, I think the best branding is simple because the best branding is authentic. You can't fake a great brand. Brands that stick to their core values, vision and culture can't help but be honest about who they are -- and it shows.

​
